Our followers have taken part in adventure races, bike rides, mountain hikes and marathons here and overseas. They have raised money for life-saving equipment, upgraded patient facilities, built new hospital wards and funded ground-breaking research.
We are incredibly humbled by the effort you put into making a difference for people in the Mater Hospital. That’s why we will do anything we can to support you in accomplishing whatever challenge you set for yourself. There’s no limit to what you can achieve!
You might prefer to fundraise with a sponsorship card or do it all online. Perhaps you’ll use a combination of both, but creating an online fundraising page on Facebook, Just Giving or Everyday Hero means you won’t have to worry about handling the money yourself. It means that donations from your family and friends come straight to us while you can keep an eye on the amount.

From Day One: Have you told people? Let them know all about your challenge and the amount you’d like to fundraise. It’ll help you stick to your goals!
When Training: Do you have milestones? There doesn’t have to be many. But where would you like to be after a few weeks and then when it’s closer to the event.
Your Support: Where to turn on the bad days? Have you included us on this list? We have t-shirts, posters and tons of inspiring stories about what your hard work will accomplish.
