Can you take on the 30-Day Squat Challenge? Complete 3,000 Squats in November to raise funds for breast cancer care in the Mater Hospital. Registrations are open now!
It’s a tough challenge, but it’ll help critically-ill women and it will keep you healthy too.
By joining the Mater Hospital Foundation’s November Squat Challenge, you’ll be raising funds to help provide the best in breast cancer detection and care in the Mater, making an incredible difference to our breast cancer patients.

- A squat tracker to track the total number of squats you’ve done daily.
- A t-shirt you can wear while you complete the challenge.
- A community of support in our Squat Challenge Facebook group.
- A special token of appreciation on completion of the challenge!*

Kabir manages our digital campaigns like the 30-Day Squat Challenge (yes, his legs are still recovering). You’ll probably find him dropping into a Zoom call to do squats with you!

30-Day Squat Challenge FAQs
You have 30 days to do 3,000 squats in the month of November!
You can track your squats using our handy squat tracker which you will receive in your sign up pack, or by using an app of your choice.
Then post an update of the squats completed to your fundraiser page daily or weekly!
You’ll receive a squat tracker to track the total number of squats you’ve done daily.
It’s super easy! You can create a fundraiser on our iDonate Challenge page. It only takes a few seconds to set up, and it’s simple to share with your family and friends.
Absolutely! If you’d prefer to collect donations in person, you can request a sponsorship card. Just drop us an email at fundraising@materfoundation.ie and we’ll get you sorted.
Participants qualify for a special token of our appreciation based on a minimum fundraising target of €20 and on completion of 3,000 squats in the month of November.
As part of this challenge, you must set up a fundraising page for the Mater Hospital Foundation and have raised at least €20 by the end of the challenge to qualify for this token of appreciation.
This minimum fundraising requirement reflects the cost of challenge packs; while also highlighting our need to ensure we spend our money wisely and for maximum impact. You should also use your fundraising page to update number of squats performed throughout the challenge.
These pages are linked to the Mater Hospital Foundation, so we’ll be able to see that you have competed your 3,000 squats.
By taking on our 30-Day Squat Challenge in November, you will help us to raise vital funds for Breast Cancer patients the Mater Public Hospital.
