Festive €5,000 Raffle 2025 – Terms and Conditions

The Promoter:

The Promoter is The Mater Hospital Foundation, 53-54 Eccles Street, Dublin 7, D07 KH4C (CHY 9768 | CRO 108518 | RCN 20024505). A Raffle Permit from An Garda Síochána has been granted in October 2025 – Permit granted by Mountjoy Garda District.

By entering the Mater Hospital Foundation’s Festive €5,000 Raffle 2025, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and any other conditions in the messaging or promotions of this Raffle (which may be amended at any time by the Mater Hospital Foundation).

Any entries not complying with these terms and conditions will be deemed invalid.

Prizes:

Prizes for this raffle are 5 x €1,000 cash prizes.

No prize is transferable to another person.

Prizes will be issued to winners once the draw has taken place and winners confirmed. In order to redeem prizes, which will be paid via EFT, winners will be required to provide the following documentation:

• ID (passport or drivers’ licence)
• Proof of Address (bill within last six months)
• Bank details on statement showing name, address, BIC and IBAN

How to Enter:

The raffle will run from 18th November to 11pm, 18th December 2025.

All raffle tickets must be received by the Promoter no later than 11pm on the closing date. Any tickets received after this date will be disqualified.

To enter the raffle:

Purchase an online raffle ticket from the Promoter at www.materfoundation.ie/festive5000. This link will redirect entrants to our iDonate raffle purchase platform.

On purchase of an online ticket for the raffle draw, all purchasers of tickets are automatically entered.

By entering the raffle, the entrant agrees to take part in any publicity relating to the raffle draw, if invited to participate by the Promoter.

Eligibility:

The draw is open to all persons aged 18 or over as at the date of the draw except direct employees and trustees of the Mater Hospital Foundation.

The Promoter reserves the right to reject any entry (and award the prize to an alternative winner) if it has grounds to believe the entrant has breached any of these terms and conditions, acted fraudulently or illegally, or on other reasonable grounds and shall have no liability to an entrant for any loss or damage arising from such rejection.

The Promoter respects your personal information and is committed to protecting your privacy. The personal information you provide will remain private and will only be used for the purposes outlined here. Should you opt in to further email or telephone communications from the Mater Hospital Foundation, you may receive further communications regarding the work of the Foundation and ways to get involved.

The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, amend, terminate or temporarily suspend this raffle at any time with no liability to any entrant or any third party.

Winner Selection:

The winner(s) will be drawn randomly on the iDonate platform after the closing date of 18th December 2025 and will be supervised by an independent scrutineer.

The prizes are non-transferable and only consist of what is listed above.

The winners will be notified within 10 working days of the closing date either by email or telephone. Prizes will be distributed in January 2026.

In the event that we cannot contact any of the winners within 28 calendar days after the draw, another name will be drawn and a new prize-winner will be declared.

The winning ticket numbers will be announced on the Mater Hospital Foundation social media accounts and website at www.materfoundation.ie.

By entering the draw, winners confirm their agreement to take part in any associated publicity.

The Promoter’s decision is final and no further correspondence will be entered into.

If for any reason any aspect of the Raffle Draw does not function correctly, whether by means of infection by computer virus, network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter that corrupts or affects the administration, integrity or fairness of the Raffle draw then the Promoter may at its sole discretion cancel, modify or suspend the promotion and/or invalidate affected entries.
