Mater Hospital Foundation Stories

There are around 400,000 patient visits in the Mater Hospital each year, and for every one of those patients, there’s a story. At the Mater Hospital Foundation, we are privileged to get to meet some of these people – some who have undergone heart and lung transplants, others who have survived cancer, families who have been screened and saved from inherited cardiac conditions, and others fighting serious illnesses in clinical trials.

Every one of these people has an inspiring story to be told, and most often, it is you – our supporters – that have helped them to lead a happier and healthier life because of the treatment and care they’ve received in the Mater Hospital.
