Since 1861, the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital has been a beacon of hope and healing in Ireland. It is a level four teaching hospital based in Dublin’s north inner city, providing a range of frontline and specialist services on a regional and national level.

The essential funding we receive from our kind supporters nationwide, helps us fund a range of new and innovative services and supports that have a real impact on hundreds of thousands of lives.
The Mater Hospital is a national centre for a wide range of specialities and super specialities. It is a main centre for cancer care and one of two Major Trauma Centres in Ireland.
