Through the power of our community – you, lives are changed for the better every day. With your help, we are funding projects that will continue to positively impact patients, families, and staff for years to come.
Together, we drive meaningful change in the Mater Hospital by putting your donations to work across four key pillars: advancing medical equipment, new services and hospital redevelopment, research and innovation, and support for patients, families, and staff.
In 2024, we raised a total of €5.2million to support patients in the hospital. An incredible amount worthy of celebration.
Your help enabled us to support projects right across the Mater. Among these was the milestone launch of START Dublin, the first dedicated early-phase oncology clinical trials unit in Ireland, based at the Mater Public Hospital.
We also funded a state-of-the-art genomic sequencer for the Next Generation Sequencing Lab, a new ultrasound scanner for the Emergency Department and enhancements for St. Aloysius’s ward for inpatient psychiatric services, and so much more besides.
