We are so proud of this incredible achievement by our 100 Miles community!
This is an amazing milestone and it’s all thanks to the dedication, generosity, and community spirit shown by everyone who took part. From the miles completed to the donations, shares, and support along the way, every single effort contributed to this result.
This year we were honoured to have three teams from within the Mater Hospital take part and raise funds.
Thanks to Emer, Luke and Dan from the Medical Physics team for getting out there, rain or shine and working to raise the vital funds needed to support your every-day work.
Rob, Basil, Ewan, Sharon, Kate, Luke, Alex and Grainne from the Perfusion Department… thank you all so much for keeping up the great work!
Robbie and the Cardiac Investigations team, you’re all superstars in all that you do.
The steadfast support from our hospital teams and wider 100 miles community means we can continue supporting life-saving cardiac care and the hospital staff who make such a difference to patients and families every day. In recent years, we have been able to support the work of the Family Heart Screening Centre in the Heart House and provide vital equipment for cardiac supports across the hospital.
This achievement goes far beyond the challenge itself, it reflects what can happen when people come together for a meaningful cause.
Thank you for being part of something truly special 💚
