Mary will take on the Mater Abseil challenge and step off the roof of Croke Park on Friday 3rd October.
She shares her inspiration for taking part, “Because too many people in Ireland are still facing breast cancer, some of whom are good friends of mine. Too many are embarking on a difficult journey of tests, diagnosis and treatment.
That’s why I’m taking on the Mater Abseil, to raise vital funds so our doctors and nurses can keep delivering extraordinary care when it matters most. Every day I see their commitment, determination and dedication with my own eyes.”
“I’d love for you to join me. Especially as October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I’m calling on others to take the leap, stand shoulder-to-shoulder with people facing a breast cancer journey, and take on this exciting challenge.
Together, we can continue to be there for breast cancer patients in the Mater when they need it most.”
If you would like to join and take the leap 150ft off the stands of Croke Park, you can sign up here.
It will be an unforgettable day, for an extraordinary cause.
Until exceptional care is always there – for everyone.
