More than 250 Marilyns strutted into the water to the tune of 'I Wanna Be Loved By You' at Balcarrick Beach in Donabate, Co. Dublin for Marilyn's Mater Paddle 2026.
A sea of blonde wigs, red lips and vintage glamour took to the water in support of women’s cancer care at the Mater Public Hospital.
Participants embraced the iconic Hollywood theme, stepping into character in retro swimsuits, polka dots and pin-up style as they paddled together for a powerful cause.
Funds raised from Marilyn’s Mater Paddle will go directly towards supporting women’s cancer services in the Mater Public Hospital. Now firmly established as a highlight in the summer fundraising calendar, the event helps ensure women receive the very best care, comfort and supports throughout their cancer journey.
Following the paddle, Marilyns and their friends and family continued the celebrations at The Shoreline Hotel, where the glamour carried on with music, refreshments and the ever-popular Marilyn Mixer after-party, complete with exclusive event goodie bags.
