VHI Women’s Mini Marathon

The VHI Women’s Mini-Marathon is the largest all-female event of its kind in the world and the largest one day charity event in Ireland.

The mini-marathon is a 10 km (6.2 mile) event and attracts over 40,000 participants, many of whom choose to make a big difference for their chosen charity.

When you decide to run for the Mater Foundation, you’re actively and directly changing the lives of patients who need it. You’re making the hospital a better place, a more comfortable and caring environment, and giving a real boost to people who need it.

This year, why not do something incredible? Help change and save lives in the Mater!

Here to Support

The Mater Foundation is here to help you put the runners on, get out training, and start raising those funds. We know you can often do this without out us, but we can’t improve patient lives without you – so we’re always at the end of the phone or email to guide you through your fundraising.

The VHI Women’s Mini-Marathon page has some excellent resources for training, diet and nutrition, and what to expect when you take to the streets of Dublin on the June Bank Holiday Weekend.
